I'm 31 weeks pregnant today! Whew it's not as fun as I planned.
I had to take a glucose test a few weeks ago, and the test results came back "abnormal".
I'm scheduled to have a glucose tolerance test tomorrow at 5 am. They'll be drawing my blood every hour for 3 hours. I'm not supposed to eat or drink anything for a full 12 hours. I've only been fasting for 3 1/2 hours so far. I'd normally be hungry by now, but someone told me to sleep as much as I can. They said it would distract me from being hungry.
They're just checking my blood sugar levels. I'm not a doctor or a scientist, and I feel dumb asking this...
But can I drink all the water I want? Or will that mess up the test results?
I don't want to have to get this done again. It's gonna be a pain. Answers from women would be the best; since every woman these days has to get it done.
Thanks to all and wish me luck please!
