My wages have been garnished for almost a year for a car loan from several years ago also have pending garnishment or the possibility of bank account being frozen from credit card debt. Both have gone through court and the second one has now sent a court date to determine my income and bank account standings, This court date is at the end of the month and states if I do not comply I will be in contempt. Do I have the option to declare bankruptcy at this time? or is it too late? Thank you for any help.
