Hey all! Well I wanna get an iMac (don't try and change my mind) and I want the 2.8GHz one with the ATI HD 2600 PRO, and I was wondering what kind of fps would I expect in WoW with like max. settings and stuff...and also if Crysis could run well on it or not because I saw some youtube videos (using the same iMac) running Crysis well.
What do you yall think? Sorta conflicted here cause I still wanna play those 2 games but I heard people saying their experiencing sorta low fps in WoW and stuff...
All help would be appreciated!
I don't really want a full-on gaming computer...I just want a computer that I can have a bit of fun with and the iMac is the best imo, because i read a bunch of forums about people with the same iMac and they run WoW at about 60 fps + with full screen glow off and that seems awesome for me and Crysis at like medium or low settings which is still good for me...so i dunno

No problem with WoW there.

Assuming you will dual boot with Windows, Crysis is a very different animal. HD2600 Pro but w/ just ddr2 would be miserable in Crysis even at low game settings. Crysis would play acceptably at low to medium BUT low resolution on the HD2600 Pro ddr3. The faster HD2600XT gddr4 would be better but still just at medium settings and low resolution, no AA/AF.

IF the games you want are even supported then its still a no. Macs in general are useless when it comes to gaming. Maybe if you were into photo editing or music creation, but not gaming. I have no further advice but to say to not purchase that computer but you stated above to try and not convince you so i guess i wont be able to get it through to you.
