If I call my ISP, Cox, and request them to change my Static IP Address or give my household a Dynamic IP, will they? I figured I should ask here first, so I don't waste too much time trying to get customer service on the phone.

Edit: Also, is there a way I could change it myself? I am on a macbook. I use a time capsule router.
The phone is connected with the internet. Do you think they would still change the Static IP. Do you know why a Dynamic IP isn't recommended if a phone line is also connected with it?
