...surgery).? Hello all, I hope that there is someone that can help me or knows about Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
In a nutshell, my sister and i both have Strabismus and I recently had surgery to correct my eye and am very pleased with my results. My sister is not insured and desperately needs the surgery as well. I know she is happy for me and its not in her nature to hold anything against me, but i can tell that she is sad because of the stigma that comes along with living with a lazy eye.
Is there any thing that cook county hospital in chicago can do for her? She is experiencing physical pain from her eyes that give her migraines, she is also unable to focus and read for any extended period of time, and of course the emotional effects of having a lazy eye. If anyone knows of any other program that might be able to help her, PLEASE share!
