im going to get a dodge challenger soon, but i hear chrysler is going bankrupt.

will the price of the dodge challenger drop?

if chrysler goes bankrupt and i buy a challenger is this good news or bad news.

well ya! theyll have a going out of buisseness sale and like 90% off of everything

Because it's a Challenger & in some parts of the country that car is still in demand, don't count of any great discounts. At best you can get it for invoice. But you'll get decent financing through Chrysler if you get approved. Chrysler is going to reorganize, not go completely out of business. Their truck division is their strongest asset. Many cars will be dropped entirely such as the Sebring, Avenger, Compass, Aspen, Durango, & a few others. But since the 300 is a good seller, they will reduce their production, but not eliminate it. You'll see fewer Dodge dealers b/c they will go to a dedicated truck division. So that is the rumor.

Why would they?

The business going bankrupt, doesn't suddenly change the cost of the products they produced.

That's like saying if you lose your job, can I buy your house for 1/2 of what it's normally worth?
