Will Canada army deploy a lot when I join?

I'm 17 now and am gonna join the army in the next couple years. I am gonna go in full time and am wanting to get deployed across the world. WIll this still happen. What are your thoughts on this?
 
Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced that we will be leaving Afghnistan in 2011, hopefully that changes and we stay
unless you join this year or the beginning of next year the chances of you going are slim

I leave for BMQ july 18th and I won't be going to Afghanistan [armoured soldier - combat arms] for about atleast a year.

Also depends on your MOC. combat arm positions like mine deploy alot faster and more frequent than alot of other MOCs
