Will Bush declare Martial Law?

The current economic crisis may qualify as a National Emergency. This would give Bush an excuse to delay the elections indefinitely.

No he will not declare martial law.

But if the need for protection comes about. Do not worry as through out history, us gun toting conservatives will protect the mealy mouse weak liberals.

Not total, just partial. Then it will be Partial Martial Law. (LOL). Then he'll have to get a deputy because all Martials need a good deputy.
 
A. wrong. Economical crisis is not grounds for martial law
B. Martial law does not necessarily delay elections
C. Congress can lift such declaration of martial law
D. Congress can actually impeach a president for abuse of power
E. Bush would know the republican party would be destroyed if he tried.
 
A few years ago he would have, but now, I think he wants to just go back to his ranch in Texas and have a beer. The guy's done.
 
More likely everyday. "Free" speech zones at the Democratic convention, the irony is dripping off that one.
This country is heading into very bleak days. Keep trying to wake them up.
