Will biking 10 miles everyday help?

I want to lose weight. I have a stationary bike. Due to it making my ass hurt, I pulled up a chair behind it and bike that way. I put my laptop on the bike seat to use it as a table, and YAY! Multitasking! I can't tell you how much easier this makes the 10 miles.

Anyway. I'm not sure how accurate the counter thing on it us, but I bike everyday until it reads 10 miles.

This is the only exercise I do all day. I also am on the Adkins diet (Only one that works for me. Please don't judge)

I'm roughly 200 pounds. 19 years old, and female.

Is 10 miles enough to impact my weight loss? Do I need to bike more miles? Is this enough?

As long as you are consistent and eat well, it'll help lose weight. The more you exercise the more weight you will lose, but I'm sure it'll be fine. I'd do 30 minutes a day at least.

10 miles cycling every day is significant exercise but not much and depends on your food input and other exercise.

I assumed you were commuting to work, but you just cycle for the hell of it? In your spare time?
