Will At&t lose a lot of customer with the iphone going to Verizon now?

So our news channel just announced that Verizon will be getting the iphone. Will a lot of people be leaving At&t now to have the iphone on Verizon?

Will that make the charges of internet go up for the iphone since less people will be on the service?

Should I get rid of my iphone before all this happens?
