Will Astro gaming headsets work with an iPod or Windows phone 7?

I'm thinking about buying Beats by Dre Sudios but I'm also a pretty active gamer. I was wondering if the Astro A40 wireless headsets work with iPods and Windows Phone 7's. Basically, do Astros have the correct audio jack to fit into an iPod or Windows Phone 7? If it works with android also that would be useful to know also.
