I got my iPod Touch around 3 months ago for christmas. It was bought quite soon before that, so still has around 9 months left on its warranty. Last night I plugged it in to charge, with my usual mains charger, and the was a loud crack and it turned off. Since then it has not turned back on. I connected it to iTunes, but it didn't find it, or turn on. The only thing I did notice is that viewing from the top, the bottom left corner got quite hot quite quickly. I don't know if this will help any of you techies to work out what went wrong, but I reckon it's that a power surge fried its innards. So will Apple replace my iPod for this? Is there anything similar that they are known to replace for?
Thanks in advance!
