Will Apple Canada unlock my iPhone 4?

I recently moved from New York City to Toronto, Ontario and I have an iPhone 4. Unfortunately, it's locked to US carrier AT&T.

If I called Apple and explained to them my situation, will they unlock my phone for me to use with a Canadian carrier? I feel like I'm stuck with an expensive brick.
 
Hi if need to unlock your iphone4 you can contact your at&t network provider . But they are unlock your phone only the contract period end. So better you can unlock your iphone4 through online unlocking service.
