Republicans in the past have granted them amnesty. Democrats in the past wanted to but like Clinton built a border fence and that isn't solving the problem.
Obama's placing more Border Patrol agents on the border is helping, but it is not enough.
When will they actually come up with a better solution?
They need to lock up any business owners that knowingly hire them. They should not give them amnesty at all and send them back to whatever country they are from.
Maybe a better deterrent would be if we built a minefield or fired on the ones coming across illegally. Isn't that what Mexico does to illegal immigrants?
All I'm saying is that it doesn't seem like either side of the political spectrum wants to come up with a real solution. They just want to ignore it and get voters because one wants the votes and the other wants cheap labor for businesses.
I say deport illegals. Fire on anymore coming across. Any business that hires them should be completely stripped of its assets and the people knowingly hiring them should get life imprisonment.
