Will an unlocked iphone 4 work with the Virgin Mobile Prepaid Sim card?

An iPhone is designed to work with GSM carriers.Since its unlocked you can switch over to other GSM networks.Only locked phones,will not accept the other carrier simcards.I had a locked one,and after unlocking it through the permanent remote unlock service from Theunlockspot.com I was able to swap networks in my iPhone 4.
