will an older chevy 3/4 ton front end fit under my 1970 3/4 ton ford?

im converting a 1970 f250 into 4x4. im a fabricator by trade but not a mechanic. i have 3.73 gears in rear and dont want to change. does chevy have a 3.73? will the 8 lug pattern match? before i locate a front end should i be aware of any problems in what front end i should look for?
