Will Alltel HTC Wildfire work for T-Mobile GSM even if..?

I've T-mobile as a carrier want to buy this phone and the description reads: Cellular Band: WCDMA (UMTS) / GSM 850/900/1800/1900

Will it work on a Tmobile GSM network? Or have you heard this phone that works on both CDMA and GSM network?
