I just bought a verizon blackberry curve 8530 off ebay. I did some research and it said that i would be able to use the phone with telus. So I bought it. But then i took it to Telus and they said it wont work. The phone does not have a verizon sim card. I am wondering if i buy a telus sim card and get it unlocked, will it work on the telus network? I can also buy a verizon one if i need to.
On the back under that battery the white sticker has a bunch of codes. It has a MEID DEC, pESN HEX, MEID HEX. I dont know what these mean but someone has told me that they have something to do with getting it on the network?
