Will a USB Logitech Playstation 2 microphone work on a PC?

When I hook it up to my PC, it finds it, recognizes it, and installs it, but it doesn't seem to produce any sound through my speakers.
 
umm, yha if your computer is finding and installing it than more than likely it will work, but when you talk its not going to come through your speakers because one you plug it into the usb it becomes the new defalt, try lisining to some music and see if you can hear it through the headseat speakers, and if you want to know if the mic works just go to < start - all programs - accessories - Entertainment - Sound Recoreder > and try to recored something that way if it will play sound back to you than its working, idk if thats what you where asking and if that ansers your question but GL
