Will a two person camping tent be big enough for three children?

I'm having a camping party for my birthday in my back garden and I don't want to buy a four man tent because it is expensive and i will only be using it once, so i thought will a two person tent be big enough for three small year 7's?

i think so. in my experience, the tents seem larger than what they say they are made to hold. don't spend the money. the kids won't care if they are a little squished.
 
if it is a dome type tent then probabally yes.
if it is a long thin one then i would say no
 
yes....i love tent parties! i used to do that when i was in school!
