i just purchased a Sony XM-GTX1852 1000 watt amp with the hopes that it will power two 10 inch subs, the subwoofer speakers max out at 1000 watts, and have an RMS of 300, the specs on the Amp are
185 Watt RMS - 4 Ohm - THD 1.0 % - 2 channel(s),
or 200 Watt RMS - 2 Ohm - THD 1.0 % - 2 channel(s),
will this be sufficient to get a decent sound? also, what size inline fuse should i use between my battery and amp? I also have a capacitor but i know how to hook that up.
