Will a regular T-Mobile phone work with the Walmart Family Plan?

I got this phone a few months ago, and it's perfectly fine. I just need to buy one with email access. There is only one phone on the Walmart plan that provides email, the only problem with that is it's a touch screen phone. I really don't want a touch screen one, so the only option would be to buy another T-Mobile phone.
