Will a PSP-1000 battery work for the PSP-1001?

I have a PSP-1001, and I was looking to buy a pandora battery. All of them say PSP-1000/2000, downgrade all PSPs! The thing is, I have a PSP-1001, not a 1000 or 2000. Will the same battery that works with a 1000 work with a 1001?
