will a PGM-FI from Honda cbr1000rr 2005 work on a PGM-FI 2006? what about a 2007 one?

got a cbr1000rr 2006, the shop said i need to replace the PGM-FI.
trying to save some money =) used one cost about $200 and the new one cost around $700.
