The t-case is from a 90-92 cummins, but I have been told that the original cummins used the same 727 trans that the 318's and 360's used. the NP205 is 23 splined (as opposed to 29 splined used later) and the guy selling it says it will bolt up to any 727, he has the adapter needed. My dodge is an 84 with a NP208 original, I would like to switch to the 205, but I am concerned about having to change the length of the driveshafts, or any other problems that I may not have thought of. I do believe that it is passenger side drop, and that is what my truck needs.
Will a NP205 fit on my Dodge?
