Will a newer Yamaha blaster engine work with older blaster frame?

I am looking to buy a new motor for mt 92 yamaha blaster and i was wondering if the newer motors (05-06) would be easy enough to get working. Im petty sure it will fit just fine but I'm more concerned with the stater wiring. I hear thet the new stater uses 5 wires and the older one only uses 3 or 4. Any help would be great thanks!
 
It should FIT easily, that bike hardly changed in the 20 years that it was produced. I'm not sure on the starter wires, but it should be an easy change. Man, that was a great bike.
