cause damage to it? I noticed that listening to the radio in my car with my cellphone on was hard to enjoy because of the buzzing sound my phone's interference causes. I saw on youtube a video that shows someone placing a cellphone on a silvery electrostatic bag and the buzzing stopped. I went to a local computer repair shop and got one they were about to throw away. I cut a small square of it out and put it behind my phone's battery. It works! I haven't noticed any problems with my phone since it's been in there but I saw a warning online somewhere that it could cause tiny circuits to short out. (I tried the pinkish bag and it didn't stop the interference. Only the silverish one worked.)
