I have a local ordinance for shoplifting from a while ago (im dumb i no). I live in Illinois, the local ordinance from schaumburg in cook county. When I apply for jobs in my area (my city is in lake county) will it show up? I thought local ordinances would only show up if I apply for jobs in cook county. I want to know if I am not getting jobs because of a back ground check. I'm talking part time jobs like Wal-Mart, Target, and Wendy's. I'm currently attending a university so schooling is not an issue.
