Will a ford ranger body lift kit work on the explorer?

for some reason, the year 2000 explorer got jipped. But the ranger sure didnt. I keep hearing that you could just buy a ranger body kit and put it on the explorer, while making some mild modification. Is this true? By the way, I want a 3 inch lift.
 
Ugh no, the explorer has air suspension in the back, the pos ranger doesnt, they are not interchangable as is anything on them.
