will a dvd+r disc work in a car cd player?

im thinking about burning some music onto a dvd+r disc cause i dont have any cd-r disc, if i were to burn onto the dvd+r disc music would it work on a card player, its not a flash one you can buy in a shop, i just came with the car and the car is a Citroen, if you think im submitting this questions in the wrong category could you tell the correct category please
