Will a DDWFTTW craft continue to move with a slight change in wind direction?

I am planning on using a DDWFTTW craft in a wind-energy demonstration, but one of the requirements is that the device must continue to produce energy with a ~30 degree change in wind direction. I realize that DDWFTTW involves direct wind, but would the device continue to move, if a little slower, when the wind direction changes?
