I want to make a large scene for a play, and painters canvas is expensive. Is it a good idea to buy a large tarp or dropcloth to hang up as scenery? Like the kind you can get at home depot for fairly cheap? What type of paint would work for a canvas tarp so that it wouldn't peel or crack when you move it to the stage?
