Will a blown headlamp bulb on a bike cause current leak?

I currently ride a ZXR 250c 1997 year model. Ever since one of the light bulbs in the headlamp blew, I had multiple problems..Battery needs to be constantly taken out and sent to the shop to charge..Could the blown bulb cause the charge to sip out or something? Or is it just a coincidence..
