not in California. an older dated engine is prohibited be it the same engine or not.unless it is presmog-dated vehicle

that's older tech engine...IMO get a 1.6 from a 92 and up.. also you can get a remain for you 92 from most auto parts store if you looking to up grade the acura motor is what you need... when you swap it make sure you get new motor mounts and hoses belts and timing belt, and all other parts for the engine swap.. its a good time to get exhaust parts to..

I need a new engine for my 91 honda civic si and have found a 87 honda prelude si engine with fuel injection. Will the engine swap work? Any major modifications to look out for or will it be basic? Thanks
