Will a 454 fit into a 58-59 Chevy apache pick up with out any modifications?

I am rebuilding a 454 and plan to put into a 58-59 apache (which i havent bought yet). I know the motor mounts are the same, but I'm running a high rise intake and i'm wondering if the hood will still shut.

Its quite alright if it doesn't because it'll give me an excuse to fab up a custom hood scoop. ;-)
 
It depends on what engine trans combo the truck had originally, if it had the old Blue Flame six in it, you will have to change mounts and transmission. If it had a small block in it, it should bolt in.
There is a ton of room under there, clearance should be no problem! You will have to put a bigger radiator in it as well
