I bought a 1977 chevy small block i want to put in my 1991 camaro RS. It has a 3.1v6 and a 700r4 transmission. A lot of people are saying it wont bolt, but others are saying it does and say they did it no problem. I went to a local speed shop and they told me that the bolt pattern is fine and it will work. They just said i will need a torque converter and maybe a flexplate. my question is : can i swap my 3.1v6 motor in my 1991 RS to the 350 chevy i bought?
will a 350 chevy small block bolt to a 700r4 trans from a 91 3.1 v6?
