I just bought a 2003 Dodge Neon with 130,000 mileage on it for $3,600. The bank said the car is worth $7,000 so we decided not to pass it up. the man that sold it to us is the owner of a garage and he buys cars that arent running and fixes them to resale. he said he changed the furl pump and a bunch of other things and has been using the car for his own person use for 2 months but got the chance to have a Nissan instead. said the Neon was too girly for him.
my mom knows for a fact he is trust worthy because she took her car up to his shop before to have it repaired and they turned her away beacuse she still had warranty on the car and she needs to take it to the car dealership (they couldve fixed the problem and charged her for it anyway).
DO YOU THINK I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE IN BUYING THIS CAR EVEN THOUGH THE MILEAGE IS SO HIGH?
Im really scared im gona get screwed over because the last car i bought was from a private dealer who said the car was in tip-top shape and would last me 5 years at least (it died in less than a year and i still owe $$ on it). I really dont want that to happen to me again.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? my uncle said Dodge is pretty mucha throw away car and they dont last. i need the Neon to last me at least 2 years because thats how long i have on the payments. Do you think itll last that long or should i start prepairing for a new car soon?
Yeah that may be but what YEAR is it? i hear that the OLDER dodges are GREAT cars, you can drive the wheels off them, but its the NEWER ones that are the problem. like 90's and up.

it will last. our caravan has 175k. nothing but oil changes and radiator. great car its a dodge by the way
