will a 2002 jeep grand cherokee liftgate fit a 2000?

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and because of paint and a broken lock I've decided to look into replacing the entire liftgate with a junk yard liftgate. The only one that matches my color is from a 2002. Will this work with my Jeep?
