Will a 1995 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9 automatic transmission fit on a 5.2 motor?

My truck is a 1994 dodge ram 1500 5.2l 4x4 automatic. i called the local dodge dealer and they said it would fit..just wanting some pros and cons if anyone can help
