Will 2008 Plastics fit on a 1998 Suzuki RM125?

My plastics on my 98 rm125 need replacing, is it possible to fit the lastest plastics on it, anything from the year 2000 and up, if it doesnt fit the brackets is there anyway to modify something to make them fit?

Some may use double adhesive sided tapes with super bond ability, thou I cannot remember the brand.
