Will 1999 parts fit Honda Civic 1998?

My friend gave me a 1999 honda civic carbon fiber hood. I have a 1998 honda civic. We tried it anyway, and of course didnt fit. he said if i get a 1999 front end it will fit perfectly. need a lilttle help before I buy a new front end thanks
 
Don't buy first to prevent mistakes. You can ask many questions on your 1999 front end if it will fit perfectly with 1999 Honda Civic carbon filter or not? contact Honda at their website nearest in your place at:

Do U know what ur gonna ge tur self into for a CF hood?

96-98 are the same front end
99-00 have a "facelift"

ok the fenders,grill,lights,hood,front bumper are all diff
I tryed it b4 ull have to replace all 5 if u want the cf hood
but they make cf hoods for the 96-98
