Wild1 12.5 owners in here please

Just placed my order for these bars in black and have a few question...........

I was told at the dealer that I need +10 extensions. Said +8 might work, but to be safe get +10. Any help on that?

I don't need an extended clutch cable as I'm going with a suicide clutch, but is the brake line +10 as well?

Do these extensions cover everything? I have radio controls, but they are not hooked up as of yet, but I do plan on doing that eventually.

I'd like to add cruise one day, but if it makes sense to do it while I'm changing out my bars, I'll take care of it now. Is this the best way to go about this as I do plan on running all wires inside bars.

Are these extensions just a plug and play thing? I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.

Last one, where can I get all this? I don't care about steel braided line, blah, blah, blah. Black matches my bike just fine. I would just like to get everything at one spot online as I'm not in a rush to get this done.

Like I said, I'm not in a rush to get this done. Really just getting parts together as $$$$ becomes available. I plan on having a local shop do it for me so if I can have all the parts together already, that would be nice.

Check out www.johnnyvaughn.com Just tell them what bars and they can provide all the cables/lines you will need. Love your bike. How you ride it on those crappy LA freeways I'll never know. Be safe.

I have the Chubby Wild1 12.5 bagger apes, I was told 8" extensions but I found 6" extensions on everything was plenty long enough, yes the brake needs + 6" as well, the wire extension does not cover everything, you need two kits, one for your regular controls and the radio wire kit is separate, cruise should be done at same time , the electrical extensions are pretty much plug and play

X2 on Johnny Vaughn for turn key Wild1 packages. I actually went with Cyclesmith's because I wanted gloss black bars vs. the mat black - matches your ride perfectly. Dr. Vtwin can also set you up. Good luck!

Just put WO 577's on my 08 SG. +6 on clutch and brake. No wire extensions. Controls came thru the bars ok and rerouted the connectors down each side of the radio. TBW was long enough to stay in stock location. Definitely do cruise now unless you like pulling wires in and out of the bars. Got all my stuff from Dr V-Twin.

I just did this Saturday. I used the wire extensions, although you really don't need them. +6 on throttle and idle cables (I didn't catch what year the bike was). +6 on the clutch cable, top brake line is 28", TBW and wiring will all go in the bars. It is a real PITA, but if you have patience, it will be fine. I also have heated grips and that all went inside too. I needed the extension for them. PM me if you need anything else, it is real fresh on my mind. Good luck.
