Just installed WO 577's on my 08 SG. Used a +6 Magnum braided clutch and their BYOB (Build Your Own Brake) brake line kit. Stock wiring was long enough. Control wires rerouted on each side of the radio. TBW in original location. Added Goodentite riser bushings. After 25k with the original bars all I can say is WOW. What a difference. Only have about 100 mi so far but I think I'm gonna like them. They are above the fairing but with the Half Moon windshield I don't notice any more wind or rain( yep, got caught in the rain already) than with the old bars. Thanks to Dr V-Twin I've got about $400 bucks and 2 evenings in the garage in this set.

Couple of small issues. Had to take off the factory wire sheath on right side and use some heat shrink to get the diameters small enought to go thru the bars with the TBW harness. Used heat shrink on the green TBW connector so it wouldn't pull apart in the bars. I know HD makes a TBW without the connector but I hate to spend money on stuff that I don't have too. With the new riser bushings and the 1 1/4 bars there isn't enough room for the rubber half moons to go back with the lower dash. If you would ride behind that windshield for a while I think you would like it a lot better. Put another 220 mi on today and I think the bars are about perfect. Wonder why I waited so long to do it.
