Wil OviStore/Ovimaps/other S60 apps run on SE Vivaz Pro?

Just picked up the SonyEricsson Vivaz Pro from Rogers. My last 2 phones have been S60 (E71,5800), so Ive grown used to it. The SE media player makes a nice addition though.
However Im kinda bummed about the lack of free navigation (ovimaps) and other free apps, most from sony are ~$3 or more.
Id like to add more functionality to this phone. Could I download the sis files to my pc for ovistore or ovimaps and install them on the phone? Anyone tried these or other S60 apps on the vivaz pro?
 
Ovi wants IMEI and serial #. and you have to jump thru hoops to D/lL to PC. So I doubt it. Most of the apps are available elsewhere on Symbian sites. Look in the software sites at the top of the forum. Googlemaps will run and you can get the sis file.
 
I just popped in the memory card from my 5800 into the vivaz pro. About half the apps work, but performance is slow. Maybe if I installed from the sis files it would work. Gonna have to experiment.
 
Have you considered that a few more of the apps may work if you can find out the system-memory components and configuration files for them and replicate them on the Vivaz's system memory? I'd use XPlore or something like it, more powerful (or less restrictive) than ye olde Nokia File Browser.
