[Wii] virtual console games v. which remote

so i was browsing through the virtual console games, and noticed for each game, it shows which controller it's compatible with. seems like i can use a GC controller instead of getting a classic controller. is the classic controller worth getting, or should i just get/use a gc controller if i plan to get/play a few gc games to play on the Wii sometime down the line??
 
the classic controller is supposed to work with the GC games, but if you already have the GC controller no point in buying a new one.
 
classic looks better for nes/snes I'm getting it for sure. I just need to find one. I'm more into nes,snes,sega than n64 and any gc gams I'd just buy the disks for.
 
One thing you might not know about the classic controller they are selling. It fits into the Wiimote where the numchuck attaches. If you use a regular GC controller, you'll have to lay out wires across the room. If you buy the classic controller, you play it wirelessly via the remote.
 
I would just use the gc controllers... i have two of them. Man if only the old school controllers worked, I'd use my original nes and snes controllers if I could...lol

and the gun....hey do they have duck hunt avail? I havent set up my wireless yet... just inquiring
