Anyone who wants to turn their PC movies into Wii movies to play on there Wii can use this program. Its just like PSP Video 9. Will convert almost anything into the format for the Wii.

Yeah I tried it a while ago...

Since the Wii doesnt support proper movie format, this program converts file formats to MJPEG format. This shitty format plays 1 jpeg file 1 after the other to make it look like a movie.

This equals poor quality & extremely large file size. Hopefully Nintendo will add a Video channel to the list of things to do.
 
i can play movies recorded on sd flash from my nikon coolpix 4600 digicam, i think they are .mov

someone try converting a video file to .mov and see if it works
 
Load the video you're converting into VLC Player. Go to View > Stream and Media Info and click on the Advanced information tab. In video 9 click on the Encoding Profiles tab once your video is loaded. Select Wii as your device and then enter the bitrate and framerate that your video is running in. Click Save Profile and then click on Start under the Current Conversion tab.

I've gotten decent results on the PS3. Don't know about the Wii since I dont have one, but it may be worth a shot.
