I started my night in Brandon near the Mall/Toys R Us. Had dinner with the folks (for my bday from 3 days ago) and set off to a Walmart in BFE to get a Wii. Drove by the Toys R Us and saw the crap load of people waiting for the midnight release...haha fools i thought.
After driving 65 miles across cen fl and trying/calling about 12 walmarts I basically gave up hope. Drove back into town and decided, what the hell, stop by the toys r us. its 11pm by this point.
drive to the back of the line and ask whats the status. guy tells me to get in the back of line i think they still have some. I get in line, sure enough toysrus guy comes by and gives me and my girl a ticket #, 120 & 121. Turns out they had 140 to sell tonight.
I have never, ever come across a store that orchestrated something so well. They had 25 employees on hand to take care of this, and it went as smooth as you could ever want. Got 2 wii's, and zelda.
btw, and lol's, right across the highway from the toys r us is a best buy with kids camped out. lol's
Thanks Brandon Toys R Us. You guys made my night!!!
