Does it matter what kind of SD card I get for the Wii? The official ones are ridiculous in pricing.

An SD card is an SD, doesn't matter what you buy. I just bought a 2gig Sandisk SD card from OfficeDepot.com on a one-day sale for $24.

Yeah, the Wii ones are $60 for 512 or $100 for the 1gig Even says Sandisk on them too

Just as long as its SD and not MiniSD or MicroSD. But sometimes those come packaged with SD form-fitter thingies... so no, it really don't matter.
