Wii Play - Impressions

Wii Play is pretty fun. I wouldnt call it a full game, the game is fun single player but not to play for long. All games can be 1 player or 2 player.

2 Player is awesome in some games.

Shooting Range - Its like the game Mini Point Blank + Duck Hunt in one. Control accuracy is incredible. This game is twice as fun in 2 player. Would be better if the light gun was released.

Find Mii - Miis walk past the screen in different scenarios, you have to pick 2 specific miis (e.g. 2 that look the same or 2 odd ones out etc). This is just a game to get you used to the remote, its fun first time, havent played it since. Probably least favorite game.

Table Tennis - This is good 2 player. The game is to see how many times you can rally, not much else to say. The Miis you created come on screen to watch you play depending on how good you are doing.

Pose Mii - This can get annoying single player. You have to rotate your Mii to fit in the bubble shape, you cant let any bubbles drop to the floor. It stresses me out in 1 player mode...I dont seem to have enough time lol

Laser Hockey - Basically air hockey with fancy lights and a neon fireball. Its a bit slow but its still fun. Computer AI seems a bit poor in this one getting the ball stuck every now and then. This is better 2 player. Highest score wins within the time limit.

Billiards - Using the remote to strike the cue ball, you gotta get a certain target ball into the pockets. All sorts of tricks can be done here, hitting the cue ball at certain points to spin it. It can be fun, havent played 2 player yet.

Fishing - This is probably the best looking one, its all flat...but 3D. It looks like its been drawn by some kids but that isnt a bad thing. You use the remote to place the fishing rod forward, backward, left, right aswell as up and down. Full 3D controls of the rod. The fish are all 2D swimming in a flat pool. This is really fun 2 player, its quite relaxing. Its nothing like Zelda fishing. Its straight and simple. You just yank the remote up once the fish is on the hook.

Charge - This is Cow racing. You hold the controller sideways like an NES controller.. You have to lean to steer the cow and hit as many targets as possible while navigating the course. You can make the cow jump obstacles by quickly raising the remote. You can charge or slow down but pushing forwards and backwards. Basically a racing/points game. Very fun 2 player.

Tanks - Objective is to detroy other tank(s). You steer the tank with the nunchuck and aim with the remote. You have mines to place down aswell as missiles to launch. This game takes alot more skill than the other games so I havent really gotten into it yet. It is fun though. Havent played 2 player.

Thats all of them...there is nothing else in the game apart from being able to get all the golden awards (getting a certain high score).

Definetely worth getting this , its not as good as Wii Sports but get it if you need an extra controller. Its an awesome game to get into the remote, easier than Wii Sports.

Now off to play the Shooting Range, I can see me getting a perfect score soon!

Yeah, I have this preordered too, but I don't really need a 3rd remote. Might just change it to another game or maybe buy it and sell the remote.
