Not sure if this is BS or not, but this site it talking about a release in Spring 2007 of colored Wiis and price dropping to $200. Not sure if I can wait that long though

Why would they update the hardware like they speculate in the article? That doesnt make any sense

But we do know Nintendo likes to rerelease the same things in different colors awhile after the original comes out so dumbasses will buy a new color and kids will say OOH THE PINK ONE
 
This is all rumors. Charging less for colored Wiis is withstandable...but it would seriously piss me off if Nintendo decided to upgrade the hardware after all the fans bought one at launch.

Personally, I think the article is 95% bullshit. The color ones are coming out though.
 
i can believe the colored ones coming out fairly soon, they did it with the ds lite

it doesn't make sense for them as a business for them to drop the price when there is still demand (the wii will still be in demand in the springtime)
 
well, look how quickly the black and pink ds lites came out in the us

it was only a few months (but i realize that they colors available in other countries)

i want to trade my white wii for a green or red one

Red Wii FTW. Definitely waiting now, I have too many games and other crap to do the next few months anyway. I can wait a few more months for Zelda on a red Wii.
